HOW IS INTERFAITH MINISTRY EXPRESSED IN A CEREMONY?

It used to be that couples married primarily within their own religions. Today, interfaith marriages are both common and accepted.
When performing a wedding or commitment ceremony, it is my first priority to represent the spiritual beliefs of the individuals who are joining together in marriage, and to create a ceremony which is also reflective of those beliefs. Spirituality is profoundly personal. It is with great care and dedication that I glean as much information as I can from each couple so that I can later weave that information into a ceremony that is both meaningful and sacred. I accomplish this through face to face interviews, telephone dialogues and written correspondence. Couples have as much or as little input into their ceremonies as they prefer. All ceremonies are submitted to couples prior to the wedding for final editing. Every ceremony is tailored for the individual couple and is unique and different.

The trend today is to create a ceremony that uniquely reflects the character, personality and spirituality of the couple. This is a skill, which requires experience, intuitiveness, and the ability to make couples feel

safe. This, in turn, allows the couple to relax, open up and share who they are at a human level. It is this level of sharing that gives birth to miracles.
